Toyota City, Japan, Oct 15, 2021 - (JCN Newswire) - 8月以降、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大等に伴う部品供給不足による生産計画の度重なる見直しにより、関係の皆さまには様々なご不便をおかけしております。また生産維持に向けた多大なるご協力をいただき、誠にありがとうございます。

11月の生産計画について以下のとおりお知らせいたします。

8月以降、計画比での減産が続く中、関係仕入先の皆さまと共に、サプライチェーンにおける部品不足の可能性がある事案を一つ一つ徹底的に検証してまいりました。その結果、グローバル生産台数は、85~90万台となる見込みです。

<ご参考 20年11月 : 約83万台、21年9月/10月 : 各約50~60万台レベル>

当初、11月の生産計画は挽回生産分を織り込み、さらに高い100万台レベルの生産を目指しておりましたが、依然一部において部品不足の影響が残ることから、国内で約5万台、海外で約5万~10万台、グローバルで合計約10万~15万台の見直しを行うものです。

今後も引き続き、関係仕入先の皆さまとともに、一部で続く部品不足に対するあらゆる対策を図ってまいります。また、自社工場内及び仕入先各社での防疫対策の徹底を行うとともに、半導体逼迫の長期化も見据え、できる限りの代替検討も進めることにより、お客様に1台でも多く、1日でも早く、お車をお届けできるよう尽力してまいります。

東北大学とNEC、スーパーコンピュータを活用した発電用ガスタービンの数値シミュレーション高速化技術を開発

TOKYO, Oct 15, 2021 - (JCN Newswire) - 国立大学法人東北大学(注1、以下 東北大学)と日本電気株式会社(注2、以下 NEC)は、電力の安定供給と発電効率の向上に向けて、発電用ガスタービンの数値シミュレーションにおけるスーパーコンピュータを活用した高速化技術を開発しました。本研究開発により、従来の手法で約9日かかっていたガスタービン圧縮機1.5段における非定常熱流動の全周シミュレーションを世界最速(注3)となる1.3日で実施することに成功しました。

Society5.0(注4)に向けてデジタル社会が浸透する中、益々電力の安定供給が求められています。しかし、太陽光や風力などの再生可能エネルギーによる発電が普及するに伴い、昼夜や天候の変化による電力負荷変動が電力安定供給への課題となっています。こういった課題を解決するために、ガスタービンと蒸気タービンから構成されるコンバインドサイクル発電が、その変動を相殺して電力安定供給を担っています。これらタービンは従来の発電時の定格運転とは異なる急速起動や停止を頻繁に繰り返す非設計状態での運用が強いられ、タービンの寿命を縮めたり、翼の破損を招いたりすることが懸念されています。また、さらなる効率的な発電が行えるタービンの設計開発も求められており、ガスタービンや蒸気タービン内で発生する物理現象を支配するマルチフィジックス熱流動は学術的また社会的にも重要な研究テーマとなっています。

東北大学大学院情報科学研究科(注5)の山本悟教授らの研究グループは、これまでにタービンメーカーや電力会社などとの共同研究により、マルチフィジックス熱流動の非定常大規模シミュレーションを実現するマルチフィジックスCFD(注6)技術、ガスタービンや蒸気タービンを丸ごとスーパーコンピュータで計算することができる数値シミュレーション技術(通称、数値タービン)を研究開発してきました。しかし、ガスタービンや蒸気タービンの構造は複雑で、発電時にタービンの中を通るガスや水蒸気の圧力、温度、化学的変化を考慮したシミュレーションには長時間を要するといった課題がありました。

今回の研究開発は、東北大学大学院情報科学研究科の小林広明教授が代表を務める文部科学省の次世代領域研究開発「量子アニーリングアシスト型次世代スーパーコンピューティング基盤の開発」において、山本教授のマルチフィジックスCFDの学術的知見、小林教授およびNECのスーパーコンピュータにおける高速化と大規模並列化技術、そして東北大学サイバーサイエンスセンター(注7)の「スーパーコンピュータAOBA(注8)」と組み合わせることで発電用ガスタービン圧縮機における非定常熱流動全周シミュレーションの高速化を実現しました。

なお、スーパーコンピュータAOBAはNECのベクトル型スーパーコンピュータ「SX-Aurora TSUBASA(注9)」を採用しており、従来東北大学とNEC共同で研究開発を行ってきたSX-Aurora TSUBASA向けの最適化技術を数値シミュレーションに応用しています。

ハイブリッド5Gネットワークを活用したユースケースとして、製造業などのサプライチェーンへの活用が挙げられます。原材料や部品の調達から最終的に消費者に製品を届けるまでのプロセスで、拠点内ではローカル5Gを活用して各工程内でのデジタル化を実現するとともに、拠点間の輸送時にはパブリック5Gを活用することで、全プロセスを通じてのデータ連携も可能になります。

一般道の交差点などで、右左折をする際に車両や歩行者を検知し、接触の危険性がある場合は、衝突軽減ブレーキ(CMBS:Collision Mitigation Braking System)が作動します。従来のHonda SENSINGのCMBSをさらに進化させ、検知範囲を前方から全方位に広げることで、交差点の出合い頭における衝突回避・被害軽減を支援します。
